| Poker Biography - Daniel Negreanu
At the age of 23 (1998), Daniel was the youngest person to win a world championship event, when he won the WSOP Pot Limit tournament. He has had other winning years at the WSOP, most notably in 2004. During that year's event, Daniel won one bracelet, and placed in the money five times. Also in 2004, Daniel won the WPT's Borgata Poker Open ($1.1 million), and the Five Diamond World Poker Classic ($1.8 million). In recognition of Daniel's phenomenal play, he was named the Card Player Magazine 2004 Player of the Year, the 2004 Champion Player of the Year, the 2004 ESPN Toyota Player of the Year, and the 2004-2005 WPT Player of the Year.
