Jennifer Harman Biography

Jennifer Harman Poker Player Biography

Jennifer Harman is one of the best-known female poker players in the world. Born in Reno, Nevada, she was first introduced to poker at the age of 8, when she began watching her father play in his home games. As she got older, he frequently asked her to sit in whenever he was down money, and she usually managed to get him out of the hole. By the time she turned 21, Jennifer began playing poker full time. While this caused a temporary rift between her and her family, she persevered. Jennifer specialized in limit holdem, and played in middle limit games for many years to build her bankroll. She was able to put herself through university with the money she earned playing poker. Eventually, Jennifer had amassed a bankroll large enough to allow her to play high stakes games.
