Each years thousands of poker player converge on Las Vegas, Nevada for the World Series of Poker. During the month long World Series, 55 poker tournaments are played, ending at #55 - the main event.
The main event is a $10,000 buy-in paying out a million or more to each final table player. In 2003, the main event winner, Chris Moneymaker, won $2.5 million.
